Boys Soccer Team Loses at Substate Semifinals
The Decorah High School boys soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision to Gladbrook-Reinbeck on Tuesday to bring its season to a close. The Vikings had advanced to the substate semifinals after winning twice, but could not get the victory on Tuesday. With the loss the Vikings end their 2006 season with 12 wins and 3 losses.

Boys Soccer Advances to Substate Semifinals


The Decorah High School boys soccer team is still alive in substate competition after winning two games late last week. The Vikings beat South Tama 8-1 on Thursday, then returned to Waverly on Saturday to beat Clear Lake 3-1 on Saturday.

The Vikings, who are now 12-2, will play Gladbrook-Reinbeck for the second time this season in the sub state semi final on Tuesday.
