Decorah Beats Applington-Parkersburg, 8-2

Another well-coached game by Coach Nelson and Coach Schroeher resulted in a convincing 8-2 win over an overwhelmed Applington-Parkersburg team. Goals by Cornelius, Langholz, Sherburne, Casper, Olsgaard, and Strand demonstrated the balance of the Vikings attack. White, Bril, Bauhs, Strand and Jones played a solid defensive game with the majority of play being on Decorah's end of the field. This win improves Decorah's record to 5-1 on the season with the next game scheduled for Tuesday, May 2 at NU High in Cedar Falls.
